Tai-Chi increases circulation for those who sit for long
hours, breath control techniques provide more energy and
constant movement of the form brings relaxation to the mind.
Tai Chi Chuan or "Grand Ultimate Fist" is the
oldest Martial Art form to originate from China. The system
is an "internal art" meaning it relies on the
hidden energy within all human beings called "Chi"
or "Ki". This energy is located in the Tian Den
point, an area located two and a half inches below your
navel. Through a series of breath control exercises and
techniques a student begins to channel this energy throughout
their body under the guidance of a proper instructor. Tai-Chi
is synonymous with breathing and balance, through the breath
control a student can strengthen and prolong their life.
The deep inhales and deep exhales massage the vital organs
such as the liver, pancreas, kidneys and intestines to give
the person the super health benefits.
Tai Chi Classes are held on: Wednesday & Friday 7:45pm–8:45am
+ Monday & Thursday 7:00–8:00pm
